The Launching of Super Yacht Adastra

On April 10, 2012, the 42.5m long trimaran yacht “Adastra” was launched in Zhuhai. The Yacht cost $15 million, with an appearance of a spaceship. It can be controlled by an iPad from half a football field away, the Adastra is unbelievable. Designed by U.K. born man named John Shuttleworth, the trimaran is the second largest of its kind and took four years to build.

Zhuhai Liri Tent successfully provided temporary outdoor catering Tent and Party Tent products for the Adastra launching ceremony. The Big Tent provided by Liri Tent was used for John Shuttleworth to host the Adastra. The size of the tent was 20m in clear-span,30m in length,600 sq/m, eave height 4m, and ridge height was 7.2m. The tent was decorated as a buffet area, which provided a cozy environment for the outdoor event.

The Adastra is capable of housing nine guests and six crew members. It is able to travel at a speed of 22.5 knots and is fuel efficient as well. It is able to make a voyage of 4,000 miles, which is longer than a trip from London to New York without stopping for gas.
