Every year, the Shanghai Summer Music Festival welcomes its audience. The event always takes place from July 31st to August 13th. Last year, the festival will be held at the newly-built Shanghai Cultural Plaza. The main hall of the event will be built by tents. The Music Hall tent can be on the lawn, beach, plaza, etc. According to the number of participants and size of the music festival, the size of the tent is flexible.
Last year’s festival featured many famous musicians from around the world, including Daniel Barenboim, an Argentinian-Isreali pianist, and conductor. He performed the Beethoven Symphony No. 6 and No. 7. Also at the event was a Croatian pianist named Ivo Pogorelich who performed the masterpiece of Chopin and Franz Liszt.
